Hey, tis more Hellboy fanart. This is HB when he goes all evil-like (note the horns and 'Crown of the Apocalypse'. Yay, I finally think I captured the Mignola style! Drawn lightly in pencil and then done over in fine point sharpies.

Hi guys. Wow this is an old drawing! I just got a Bamboo fun Wacom tablet for Christmas, and in the spirit of the upcoming Hellboy Movie, I thought I'd update this shamefully smudgy and cruddy-looking piece of artwork. I re-rendered Hellboy in flat tones, and added a background (which is actually another figure. LOL GO FIGURE). I was hoping to capture the sort of edgy feel of Mignola's covers/backdrops. Its an angel, to contrast the hellish looks of our dear Red.

If you're wondering what the heck is in his hand, its Thor's hammer, Mjollnir. That comes from one of the Hellboy novels - he picks it up and it gets stuck in his hand. LOL.
